1. No live rounds present at the scene or at moonlight's place _at all_.

2. Clip, chamber, and barrel checked for (1) at least 3 times, but in actuality, much more. I'm paranoid about auto-materializing rounds. :-)

3. Safety on.

4. Hammer *not* cocked. (Must be cocked manually for first fire.)

5. Finger held in the safety position, never approaching trigger.

I could have gone further and actually removed the firing pin, but given one through five, it wasn't necessary.

Now were I to introduce dummy rounds (no primer, no powder), the firing pin would be removed to take care of that little "What if a live round got mixed in by accident?" question.

Moonlight didn't post too much about the actual gun-fucking part of the scene which went on for a while. This was probably because she was really mentally "out there" at that point. I was loving every minute of the effect. }:>
