This was written by Argentium G. Tiger, moonlight's owner and operator.
Due to wanting to present this in a flowing form, safety issues will be addressed by Tiger and myself in a separate post. ... 1. No live rounds present at the scene or at moonlight's place _at all_. 2. Clip, chamber, and barrel checked for (1) at least 3 times, but in actuality, much more. I'm paranoid about auto-materializing rounds. :-) 3. Safety on. 4. Hammer *not* cocked. (Must be cocked manually for first fire.) 5. Finger held in the safety position, never approaching trigger. I could have gone further and actually removed the firing pin, but given one through five, it wasn't necessary. Now were I to introduce dummy rounds (no primer, no powder), the firing pin would be removed to take care of that little "What if a live round got mixed in by accident?" question. Moonlight didn't post too much about the actual gun-fucking part of the scene which went on for a while. This was probably because she was really mentally "out there" at that point. I was loving every minute of the effect. }:> Oh yes, for those of you that didn't catch this URL in the thread that tobie created on moonlight's story, go here and check the third picture down: Magnum Research - Mark XIX |
